Travel from Squaw Valley to San Luis Obispo involved icy mountain roads, hail, showers and sunshine. A stop at the California Aqueduct proved a good break with the clouds moved rapidly across the sky.
The change of Edna Valley colors reminded me of Fall Foliage in the Midwest, but different in form.

Travel up and down the Central Coast includes a stop at Whale Rock Reservoir. Also, time in the Avila Canyon is well spent in Fall.
With an abrupt schedule change, I ended up in San Luis Obispo for the first weekend in November. Luckily, that coincided with Dia de Los Muertos at the 1776 Mission in downtown SLO.

After visiting Mont St. Michel, headed west to a small town named Matignon for the Wednesday market where picnic supplies were too plentiful.
