Morning Red Tail

I spotted this fella across Broad Street in San Luis Obispo near the wonderful Blackhorse coffee house that I frequent. We both have our morning routines i guess. Such sightings always take me back to Fifth Grade at Ardmore Avenue elementary school in Lansdowne, PA. I read Rufous Redtail by Helen Garrett which was a delight. That 1947 book is now rare and selling for over $200 on Amazon and a well-used copy on eBay is running at $125.
