Exploring SLO Weekend

With a 'no travel' weekend, I explored the Central Coast around San Luis Obispo (SLO) when not committing hours to pottery at the Cal Poly studio. Saturday included a trip to a hip section of Paso Robles (Tin City). The

"nuevo-industrial district" houses boutique wineries, Barrel House Brewery, Tin City Ciders, Negranti goat-milk ice cream and a fresh pasta retail outlet for Etto. The Ruddell's food truck provided smoked fish tacos for dinner. Sunday took me to Cayucos and the Whale Rock Reservoir which still had plenty of mustard grass blooms.
