This afternoon, I met and had a very nice chat with Marty Knapp, a 30-year of veteran of Pt. Reyes photography. I stepped into his open gallery and was struck by so many of his shots. I looked through a 2006 B&W magazine that had his work featured and a book of "100 Best .." that included his work. I talked with Marty about this shot because I noticed the Rock Tree the first time I had seen it along the road from Pt. Reyes to Petaluma. To say the least, my shot is much less dramatic than Marty's ;)
