Pilot House Life

One of the reasons I love time at the Macatawa Pilot House is the occasional Great Lakes Freighter that moves from Lake Michigan thru the channel on the way to a Holland dock (Brewer's, Verplank's, Padnos'). Dramatic is an understatement as these large scale ships slip down the channel.
