Two Museum Day in LA

I was able to make it to the Getty by 11am on Saturday, 14 April and to the Huntington Library and Botanical Garden by 3pm...a full day in anyone's book. The Getty's architecture and sculptures are always intriguing. I saw an exhibit on Early American photography which I liked very much. This was my first trip to the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens. The rose garden was luscious and the art had the big names including Gilbert Stuart's iconic portrait of George Washington and Edward Hopper's Maine seascape. I topped the day off with Venezualan cuisine in Old Pasadena.
