Eastern Sierra Fun

The Eastern Sierras are a year-round wonder, although roads (CA 120, CA 108) back over to the Central Valley are closed in Winter, so travel to and from requires planning. The East-West road through Yosemite (CA 120) was open and I took advantage making the most of the three-day weekend. The abandoned houses are in the June Lake area near the Eastern entrance to Yosemite. The lake with ice remains is just inside the park boundary.
