Golden Eagle in Foxen Canyon, CA

I spotted a pair of Golden Eagles that had just secured a late afternoon meal. This pose was constant for the 10 minutes that I was there which is a protective gesture I am guessing. Better than this photo from 50 yards away was the screetching between the two after the second had flown up to a nearby tree. Made my day.
