Earth from Above

One of my favorite photo books was published in 1999 by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. My introduction to his work occured when I was walking through the streets of London near the Victoria and Albert Museum. I stumbled upon an installation of very large-scale photos entitled Earth from Above populating a park site. They were laid out in anyway but a straight line, so I had to work my way around corners and angles. Every turn was a delight. This shot from the recent plane descent into Salt Lake City reminded me once again of the inspiration taken from Messier Arthur-Bertrand.
