Emerging from the Fog

Early on this Sunday morning, I heard a foghorn blast that trumpeted the departure of a ship from Holland Harbor. As the foghorn repeated its call, I scrambled for camera gear and rushed to the channnel's edge. The Pier Marquette 41 loaded with scrap iron made its way. A fishing boat raced to beat the ship to the channel. A great start to a Sunday morning for me.
