Westward Ho

I stopped at the Pony Express Museum in Marysville, KS which was the first waystation out of St. Joseph, MO. The museum was nicely done with exhibits, literature and a reconstructed barn area. The Pony Express route often overlapped the Oregon Trail, the California Trail and the Mormon Trail. It is hard to imagine life on a wagon train.
